SPICE INVADERS

The aim was to create a simple 2D platformer demo that included a variety of elements such as enemies that could shoot and a variety of power-up abilities.

I wanted to stay away from guns and violence so, as a big Spice Girls fan, I decided instead to base my game on the iconic group, with the pop stars being chased by the paparazzi and a reputation meter instead of health bar. It was fun to include character selection, giving each Spice Girl a different girl power ability.

This was the first game I made using Unity, and I was really pleased with its cuteness and quirkiness. Spice up your life!
